As star India batter Virat Kohli returns to play in his favourite country Australia, let’s recap some of his best knocks in Test down under.
Kohli scored his first fifty in Australia in 2012 with a brilliant knock of 75 in third Test. He was top scorer in first innings as well with a score of 44.
Kohli scored his first hundred in Australia in the very next Test playing a marvellous knock of 116 in Adelaide, 2012.
The star batter scored twin centuries on his Test captaincy debut scoring 115 and 141 in Adelaide 2014.
Kohli further registered his then highest Test scorer of 169 in the 3rdTest in Melbourne where he had a heated face off with Mitchell Johnson
He finished the tour with a magnificent knock of 147 in the 4th Test in Sydney and registered his 4th century of the series and scored 692 runs.
Kohli also scored 123 and 82 in the 2018-19 series in Perth and Melbourne respectively.
The former India skipper further scored 74 in the first Test of 2020-21 tour in Adelaide.
